Red Skelton, America's Clown Prince, is one of the most beloved and honored comedians of all time. His career spanned over five decades, from his early days in vaudeville to the radio and the movies, and finally to his 20 years on television. Along with Milton Berle and Bob Hope, Red was one of the first great comedy/variety stars to have his own television show, and The Red Skelton Show ranked consistently in the top 10, winning Emmy's for Red, and bringing his millions of fans the gift of laughter that he so generously shared.

This 18 DVD boxed set brings you over 33 hours of Red's unique brand of comedy, including complete, previously unreleased, Red Skelton Shows. In addition to all of his most beloved characters (Clem Kadiddlehopper, Sheriff Deadeye, George Appleby, the Mean Widdle Kid, Cauliflower McPugg, and of course, Freddie the Freeloader), Red is joined in the fun by a who's who from the world of stage, screen and television. Jerry Lewis, Mickey Rooney, martha Raye, Tony Randall, Phyllis Diller, Audrey Meadows, Jill St. John, Walter Brennan, Vincent Price, Jayne Meadows, Jackie Gleason, Mamie Van Dorne, Cesar Romero and Keenan Wynn are just a few of the many guest stars in these rare and hilarious programs, In addition to the 63 great shows, The Collector Edition includes a heartwarming biography of Red Skelton (including interviews with his daughter Valentina Alonzo, Jamie Farr and others who knew him will), a special disc of Red's Pantomime acts, a rare interview with the man himself, and a very special LIVE performance from the Nuggett Hotel in Sparks, Nevada, along with Red's unforgettable rendition of the Pledge of Allegiance.
